The beef noodle soup was ok. Broth at medium spiciness delivered the heat. I wish there was more depth of flavor. The popcorn chicken was good. The Dan Bing was a bit thick, but I appreciated the pork floss they put in it. The potstickers had a nice flavor. My friend said that the lou rou fan was OK.
I was born and raised in Taiwan, so I have to give Dragon Tea an unreserved thumbs up 👍
Many dishes are completely authentic to the hometown taste -- esp the dumplings, noodles, and the fried chicken. They may not be showstoppers, but they are definitely comfort food!
Top recommendations: Popcorn Chicken (with essential basil), Sesame Noodles (includes peanut paste), and any Dumplings (boiled or fried, they are super juicy)
My only complaint: DT needs proper soup spoons!! I can't believe we were served beef noodles with a regular tea spoon.
Good little place to pick up some food and a boba. I got just a simple order of paste noodles and they were delicious. I will be going back because it's close to home... but I think a lot of people may miss it passing by. It's right on School Street near Houghtailing. Don't pass it up.
I'm sorry but as a fan of taiwanese food I just have to gibe my 2 cents. It seems like they rushed the order out and took no effort at all. The braised tofu is just too salty. The braised minced meat is bland with no taste at all.
Had the popcorn chicken too. Ratio of chicken and basil needs to be balanced. Also the chicken was over seasoned and dryed out.
Ordered takeout from here. Popcorn chicken and boba. The popcorn chicken was good but not really spicy. The boba was not good. Tea was way too sweet even at 25% and 0% sugar options. Go elsewhere for boba
Real deal boba shop. They have grass jelly and popcorn chicken and braised pork pork ?!?!?!?!? Winner. Any drink also satisfies my boba craving.
I was ultimately disappointed with the Thai Milk Tea I got here. The flavor was decent but it didn't taste like there was any milk in it. That's weird for a Thai Tea, and very weird since they called it a Thai Milk Tea. I guess it seemed watered down? I'd be willing to try another drink sometime, but otherwise the tea didn't set itself apart from other spots nearby.
Dang this is some fire drinks and snacks.
Park in the spring lot for the apartment complex behind this building.
The tea is hella good (I rarely review boba shops but I am for this one). You can tell they use real fruits! 💦💦💦
The popcorn chicken and the chicken cutlets are fireeeeee. They come out so hot and juicy and also crispy. Wow. We ordered a bunch of snacks cause couldn't resist the allure of this Taiwanese store. Thank you!
